About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Foundations Educational Services, a member of the Point Quest Group. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in assessing students' speech language development skills and providing individualized therapy programs to help them meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' speech language development skills and interpret results to determine their need for special education services.
  • Develop and implement speech-language therapy programs, providing direct therapy to students in accordance with their individualized plans.
  • Consult with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and maintain speech-language files and related paperwork to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay current on best practices and convey information to colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona.
  • Valid Department of Education SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona.
  • Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Maintain Continuing Education requirements, as per AzDHS.

Work Environment

Our Speech Language Pathologist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. The position requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs. The noise intensity level is moderate to high.
