Benefits:

Salary:
$127,500-$165,000

This position is eligible for participation in the annual bonus program, with a target of 15% of base salary.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Benefits Manager who is dedicated to enhancing processes and solutions. This role requires expertise in navigating the complexities of U.S. healthcare and managing all benefits for Signode's North American operations.

The Benefits Manager will report to the Director of Total Rewards and will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing benefits program strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintaining a benefits program portfolio that aligns with the company's Total Rewards strategy, focusing on innovative health, well-being, leave of absence, and retirement plans.
  • Overseeing the administration and implementation of health and retirement benefit plans, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Managing relationships with benefits vendors and service providers to achieve strategic objectives while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Collaborating with vendors to resolve employee benefits issues and developing a long-term vendor roadmap.
  • Directing benefits processes and events, including enrollments and communications, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Managing global benefit programs, including mental health and family-forming benefits, and supporting wellness initiatives.
  • Optimizing technology to enhance benefits processes and communications with participants.
  • Creating and implementing a benefits communication and education program to improve employee understanding of available programs.
  • Conducting market analysis to assess competitive factors and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Preparing benefit plan documents and ensuring compliance with required postings.
  • Supporting the planning and communication of annual open enrollment and other benefits changes.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of direct experience in Benefits Management, including procurement, management, and communication of benefits programs.
  • Possession of a current CBP or CEBS certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and hands-on experience with their application.
  • Experience in managing vendors, projects, and programs.
  • Familiarity with DayForce/Ceridian or other benefits administration systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to audit complex data and identify inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and content creation.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in vendor management, including RFP processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
