Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of combined IT experience in portfolio, demand, or resource management is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing a substantial technology portfolio with various business stakeholders.
  • Background in program management with multiple contributing projects.
  • Proven experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with a PPM tool (e.g., Clarity, Planview, Align).
  • Strong presentation skills to influence management decisions.
  • Effective communication skills across different organizational levels.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office online and collaboration tools.
  • Preferred certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI): Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience in Resource Management is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of the project portfolio, including ideation, scoping, prioritization, and project activation within the designated Enterprise Technology department.
  • Facilitate ongoing portfolio review sessions with executives to maintain a prioritized portfolio.
  • Develop and influence documentation for the enhancement of demand management and resource allocation processes or PPM tool functionalities.
  • Ensure the transformation of ideas into projects that are committed during quarterly prioritization assessments.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Enterprise Technology leaders, PMO leads, project managers, IT Business Operations, and external partners.
  • Increase awareness of inter-portfolio dependencies and their implications.
  • Utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a strong focus on detail.
  • Support the financial approval process.
  • Collaborate with and delegate tasks to the Portfolio and Resource Analyst.
  • Lead and complete special projects as needed (up to 10%).
  • Address ad-hoc requests as required (up to 10%).
