Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing product line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop real-time multi-threaded embedded software, preferably on Linux OS.
  • Work with custom hardware built in-house to develop Cybersecurity devices.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and maintain software systems.
  • Develop and implement software design, code, test plans, and execute testing/debugging.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

  • Real-Time multi-threaded Embedded software development.
  • Model-based development using Rhapsody.
  • Object-Oriented design and programming using UML and C++.
  • ARM virtualization extensions and Hypervisor technology.
