About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographic Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established operating procedures.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in health science, natural science, nursing, or a related field.
  • Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
