About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographic Technologist or Sonographer to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established operating procedures.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training programs.

Requirements:

  • AA, AS Degree or proof of equivalent college hours in health science, natural science, nursing, or any other program with primary science content.
  • Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
