About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Lift Operator to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a key member of our resort operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of guests and staff on our mountain terrain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the safety of passengers while providing instruction and customer service in the loading and unloading of lifts.
  • Operate lifts to ensure optimal chair capacity and performance.
  • Notify maintenance and dispatch of repair or maintenance needs.
  • Work closely with the Lift Maintenance department to learn the proper operation of lift equipment.
  • Implement emergency procedures as required.
Requirements
  • No experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training for all lift operators.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and use considerable judgment regarding safety.
  • Physical ability to assist guests while loading lifts and stand outside in a mountain environment for long periods.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
