Position: Heavy Equipment Operator for Road Construction Initiatives

This role requires the operation of heavy machinery on road construction sites. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience with equipment such as Motor Graders, Bulldozers, Excavators, and Front End Loaders, with a preference for experience in road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in operating heavy machinery for road construction
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oiling, greasing, and making basic adjustments to equipment
  • Comprehend all facets of the paving industry, including preparatory tasks, grading, drainage, paving techniques, aggregate specifications, oil consistencies, compaction, and other asphalt-related details
  • Ensure the machinery is in optimal working condition and address minor maintenance issues, escalating major concerns to a supervisor
  • May engage in additional related tasks, including manual labor, setting up string lines, and adjusting screed extensions
