About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Laborer to join our Heavy Highway Construction team. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of our road construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general laboring duties on a road construction project, including shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, and maintaining good housekeeping and safety regulations.
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with our experienced team to deliver high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in heavy highway construction.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a required physical examination.
- Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication).
- Prior construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
