This role requires the operation of heavy machinery on infrastructure development projects. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience operating equipment such as Motor Graders, Bulldozers, Excavators, and Front End Loaders, with a preference for those with experience in road construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in operating heavy machinery for road construction
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and making standard operational adjustments to equipment
  • Understand all facets of the paving industry, including preparatory tasks, grading, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate specifications, oil consistencies, compaction, and asphalt paving details
  • Ensure the equipment is in optimal working condition, performing minor maintenance or escalating significant issues to the supervisor
  • Engage in additional related tasks, such as shoveling, setting string lines, and adjusting screed extensions
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary
