About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist to support our Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days at Porter Dental & Braces. As part of our team, you will provide high-level anesthesia care to children and young adults, ensuring their experiences with dental healthcare are positive and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice.
  • Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • An accredited Anesthesiology Residency degree.
  • A current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
  • Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
  • Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • A collaborative approach to working closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
