Join Our Team as a School Based Mental Health Counselor

At CommQuest Services, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Counselor to join our School Based Mental Health (SBMH) Provider Team. As a School Based Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and families in K-12 schools.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Counselor to provide counseling services to students and families in K-12 schools. As a member of our SBMH Provider Team, you will work closely with school staff, students, and families to address behavioral and academic challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission of providing high-quality mental health services to our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students and families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address behavioral and academic challenges
  • Collaborate with school staff to provide support and resources to students and families
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in school-based mental health
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, and be licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Ohio. At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, but not required. If you are a Counselor-Trainee or Social Work-Trainee, you may be considered with previous experience in the field.
