We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our team at Santa Rosa City Schools. As an Instructional Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional support to teachers and students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment to ensure student success.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with students, teachers, and staff.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 letters of recommendation from previous educational or work experience.
  • Must complete Mandated Reporter Training - School Personnel module before first day of employment.
  • Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer (exempt for candidates with 48 college credit units or more).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adaptability and patience in working with students of varying knowledge and skill levels.
  • Passion for education and a desire to bring that passion across all grade levels.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and students.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
