Under the general guidance of the Bell Captain, the Guest Services Attendant plays a crucial role in welcoming guests, assisting with their luggage, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greets guests with a warm and genuine welcome; addresses guests by name during their stay.
Opens doors for guests, clients, and fellow Team Members.
Accompanies guests to their accommodations, providing comprehensive instructions on all room features and amenities.
Responds promptly to in-house guest requests for bell service.
Handles and transports guest luggage with care.
Offers to replenish guest ice buckets as needed.
Manages laundry check-ins from cleaners and delivers guest laundry promptly.
Delivers gift baskets, flowers, and other special items to guest rooms.
Runs errands for guests and hotel office Team Members as required.
Maintains cleanliness and polish of luggage carts and front entry doors.
Provides directions and shares information about the hotel and surrounding area with guests.
Oversees the baggage hold room and manages claim tickets.
Offers insights about Chumash Casino Resort facilities and local attractions.
Fosters a work environment that encourages teamwork, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while exemplifying the company values and culture of One Team. Chumash.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.
Preferred: One year of experience in a hospitality setting.
Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet usage.
Flexibility to work varied schedules in a 24/7 environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
Native American hiring preference applies.
