We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Audiologist to join our team in Columbia, SC, for the full school year. This full-time position involves working district-wide with K-12 students to support their hearing needs and promote effective communication in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological assessments for students across various grade levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized audiological services tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are in place.
  • Provide counseling and support to students and families regarding hearing loss and communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, services provided, and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students with hearing impairments.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
  • Current South Carolina Audiologist license.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 students is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding special education and audiological services in schools.
