Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Security Manager to join our team at Republic Airways. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing all Operations Security programs in accordance with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Company's Security Management System, including data entry and analysis.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations, Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program (AOSSP), Private Charter Standard Security Program (PCSSP), Transport Canada Security Program, and applicable U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
  • Receive, investigate, and respond to Transportation Security Administration and Customs allegations of regulatory non-compliance.
  • Provide operational coordination of security-related incidents, including notification to governmental agencies.
  • Correspond, interface, communicate, and maintain effective working relationships with various internal customers and external agencies, including TSA, Federal Aviation Administration, CBP, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Transportation, Department of Defense (DoD), Federal, State, and local law enforcement.
  • Participate in Regional Airline Association Security Council and partner security oversight committees.
  • Act as liaison between Republic Airways Inc. and the TSA, FBI, foreign host government agencies, etc. regarding issues of aviation security and emergencies.
  • Conduct reviews of security information in applicable training programs, as required by the Security Program.
  • Complete audits required by the Security Program.
  • Serve as an Aviation Employee Vetting Manager and be responsible for the company's compliance.
  • Responsible for security portions of the International Air Transport Association Operational Safety (IOSA) Audit, DoD, corporate TSA audits, and foreign host government audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field or equivalent.
  • Requires 3 years of aviation experience in management and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer at least 5 years of experience, including some training experience.
Work Environment

Typically not exposed to extreme environmental conditions.

Travel Requirements

Able to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight travel.
