Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders, offering strategies for continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
