**About the Role**

As the Director of People, you will be responsible for creating and managing policies on compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training, aligned with the company's mission. You will lead key projects, manage labor relations, and promote a positive workplace culture.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Create and manage policies for compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
  • Lead labor negotiations, handle collective bargaining agreements, and resolve legal and compliance issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends, provide guidance on strategic planning, and build effective organizational structures.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to provide advice on employee relations, talent management, and organizational improvement.
  • Use data to drive employee engagement and reduce turnover.
  • Maintain positive relationships with unions and manage collective bargaining agreements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on policies and benefits, working with the development and education teams.
  • Address employee concerns and provide solutions to maintain a positive work environment.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 10 years of HR experience, with leadership and union experience.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
