Practice Manager of Operations

My Dentist - Ardmore is a unique dental practice that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Manager of Operations to join our 8-person team.
Job SummaryThe Practice Manager of Operations will be responsible for guiding and supporting our team in providing exceptional patient care. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to analyze processes and information to develop effective solutions and strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Strive towards mastery of the role by prioritizing and completing all necessary training and development programs.
- Develop and pursue annual business goals and personal development objectives.
- Ensure the goals and priorities of the doctors and teams are achieved through servant leadership.
- Support the doctor-led, hygiene-driven, operations-focused philosophy through regular meetings and huddles.
- Focus and prioritize efforts to support the doctor in achieving their top 10 professional goals.
- Create alignment with the doctor through regular one-on-ones, morning huddles, and weekly touchpoints.
- Commit to serving as a business partner for the doctor, collaborating and developing quarterly and annual financial goals.
- Help the doctor prioritize, plan, and block schedule for continuing education through doctor education and leadership programs.
- Understand the benefits and metrics of DMP and help the doctor monitor progress.
- Identify and support future team growth by selecting candidates that are an 80% match for both the position and the practice.
- Partner with doctors to identify skills needed for open positions and select the right team members.
- Successfully onboard new team members through partnerships with recruiting and support office.
- Support team members to prioritize and plan their training through Core Essentials and beyond for growth in their roles.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years' leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, or similar field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
- Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Trustworthiness and ability to maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics.
While not required, experience in a dental or medical setting, insurance billing and accounts receivable, and Dentrix or other dental software experience would be beneficial.
