Job Description

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resource Technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate HR value proposition and strategies with business priorities.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights.
  • Stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
  • Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management).
  • At least 2 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform.
  • At least 1 year of experience with calculated fields or custom reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration.
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
  • Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, or Performance Management).
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting.
  • 1+ years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB's).
