Job Overview

Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a critical care RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and utilizing your specialized skills to shape exceptional patient journeys.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 7a-3p, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient well-being and provides a supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State required
  • One (1) year Critical Care experience required. Diagnostic and interventional experience preferred.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required or within 90 days of hire.
