Job Overview
Northgate Ready Mix, part of the CRH family, is dedicated to fostering a culture of advancement, development, and internal promotion. Compensation: $26 - 30/hr based on experience
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of administrative tasks, including typing, filing, data entry, copying, and managing correspondence.
- Assist office personnel with order placements, invoice processing, and accurate coding.
- Prepare and ensure timely delivery of bank deposits.
- Handle additional clerical responsibilities as assigned.
- Support the Procurement team by learning and utilizing our Equipment Maintenance Software (CMMS) and Proactis for purchase orders and account reconciliation.
- Drive a company vehicle for the collection and delivery of parts and supplies as needed.
- Manage fuel inventory and usage by compiling fuel logs and reconciling data.
- Work closely with the Equipment and Transportation teams to ensure compliance with California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Participate in promoting an inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in bookkeeping, organization, scheduling, and office support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Competence in database management.
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
Work Requirements:
- This position is classified as non-safety sensitive and will require a pre-employment drug screening that does not test for non-psychoactive cannabis metabolites.
- This role is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
