Job Overview

Position Summary: The Parking Facility Attendant is responsible for maintaining an organized and clean parking environment, ensuring efficient vehicle management throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide incoming vehicles to available parking spots.
  • Monitor the number of vehicles on-site during the shift.
  • Issue violation notices to those who do not adhere to parking regulations.
  • Maintain punctuality and adhere to uniform standards at all times.
  • Provide assistance to customers by addressing inquiries and directing them to the Facility Manager when necessary.
  • Manage traffic flow at entry and exit points as required.
  • Assist with the upkeep and repair of parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Report any incidents, policy violations, safety concerns, or unusual events to the Facility Manager.
  • Notify the garage office of any debris, spills, or hazards.
  • Act as a substitute for Valets when authorized.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the garage layout and local landmarks.
  • Support the Facility Manager with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: Less than a high school diploma or one month of relevant experience, training, or a combination of both.
  • License: A valid state-issued driver's license is required, along with a clean driving record if driving is part of the job.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on the needs of the location.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, and the ability to handle cash transactions.
  • Appearance: Employees must maintain a professional appearance and wear the designated uniform at all times.
  • Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle cash and equipment. Occasionally required to sit and lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

COVID-19 Safety Measures: All staff will receive PPE and are expected to follow COVID-19 safety protocols during their shifts. Daily health surveys will be conducted to ensure safety for all.

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Parking Attendant: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: Permanent position with occasional off-site duties.

Remote Work: This position does not allow for remote work.
