Homes for the Homeless operates shelters for families facing homelessness. Our residences provide more than just shelter; they offer access to a variety of onsite programs designed to empower families during their stay. Our mission is to foster a positive impact, enabling families to thrive long after they transition from our facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas to adhere to health regulations.
- Perform floor care tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing using appropriate tools.
- Ensure windows, glass partitions, and mirrors are kept clean and clear.
- Dust and sanitize furniture, walls, machines, and equipment regularly.
- Prior experience in custodial or maintenance work.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 60 pounds.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods, up to 9 hours.
