Safety and Compliance Specialist

Structural Building Systems is a leading provider of construction services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist - Construction Sector to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone at our worksites. Key responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities- Safety Protocols: Develop and implement effective safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Safety Training: Provide regular safety training to contractors and employees.
- Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Incident Reporting: Document and report safety incidents, updating risk mitigation plans accordingly.
You will also lead safety orientations for new hires and oversee regulatory reporting. To be successful in this role, you will need:
Qualifications- Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction safety or a related field.
- Knowledge: Deep knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, EPA standards, and local safety regulations.
- Certification: CPR/First Aid certification required.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience and strong ethical judgment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
