As a Senior Application Engineer, you'll be part of our Customer Excellence team, partnering with visionary companies to engineer what's ahead and solve real-world engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows, analyzing how to address their requirements using Ansys products and platform.
  • Develop competence as a subject matter expert and industry expert, collaborating with Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into exciting new product features.
  • Support Ansys field and digital marketing, authoring conference presentations and contributing to consulting services.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment.
  • Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
  • Subject matter expert in Electronics and/or Semiconductor Domain from the structural engineering point of view.
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
