Job Title: Financial Consultant

Elevance Health is seeking a skilled Financial Consultant to join our team. As a Financial Consultant, you will play a critical role in reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify complex financial problems or issues, research solutions, and implement corrective steps to achieve higher levels of efficiency.
  • Advise management on various financial models and recommendations.
  • Prepare financial planning, rolling forecast, identify and prepare monthly journal entries, and creation and presentation of monthly budget variance reports.
  • Train and review the work of lower-level Financial Analysts.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • Experience with Hyperion Smartview and Peoplesoft GL preferred.
  • Experience with cost allocations is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting an Information Technology organization is preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are strongly preferred.

Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution. The salary range for this position is $73,920 - $92,400, based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.

The salary range is the range Elevance Health in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
