Job Summary

Coastal Horizons Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Treatment Counselor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Opioid Treatment Program in managing daily responsibilities of patients receiving medication-assisted treatment.
  • Assist in coordinating clinical care and medical team efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of patient interactions.
  • Provide support to patients, review treatment plans, and facilitate group therapy for patients receiving medication-assisted treatment.
  • Provide therapy if appropriately credentialed under necessary supervision.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, combined with knowledge of wellness and recovery-based concepts.
  • Registration with NCSAPPB as CDAC, LCAS, or equivalent preferred.
  • One year or more of experience working with substance use disorder patients preferred.
  • One year or more of experience working within medication-assisted treatment programs preferred.

Working Conditions:

Early morning hours are required.
