About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of bakers and bakery assistants to ensure efficient production and delivery of high-quality baked goods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve bakery sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with store management to achieve sales and profit goals, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, and maintain a clean and organized bakery environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and control costs to optimize profitability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a bakery management role, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team, improving sales and profitability, and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, and experience with inventory management and cost control.
