Novant Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac II Unit at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in North Carolina. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Salary: The salary for this position is up to $120,000 per year, with a sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 and relocation assistance available. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.

Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Care Specialist on our Cardiac II Unit, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of patient care interventions, including medication administration, wound care, and rehabilitation therapies.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and improve overall well-being.

Required Skills and QualificationsWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A valid North Carolina nursing license.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • At least one year of acute nursing experience, preferably in cardiology or critical care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
