Position Overview

As an Onboarding Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for orchestrating and executing onboarding initiatives within the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment sectors.

Your role will involve engaging proactively with stakeholders to identify onboarding needs, strategizing onboarding activities, and ensuring the seamless execution of these projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts and training organizations to facilitate onboarding activities.
  • Coordinate with technology and digital infrastructure providers to resolve issues and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Develop and maintain the onboarding team’s schedule, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Key Health Indicators (KHIs).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the Directorate of Maritime Engineering & Logistics (DMEL) onboarding products and services.

About Our Team

The DMEL Onboarding team plays a crucial role in integrating Naval Acquisition Projects and Maritime Enterprises into the Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) and the Maritime Sustainment Model (MSM) Enabling Support System.


Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and project management skills.
  • A solid understanding of logistics principles.
  • Desirable knowledge and experience in data and organizational change management (OCM).
  • A strong customer service orientation.

Building and maintaining robust relationships with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, and service providers is essential for this role. The ability to quickly learn and implement new logistics tools to enhance business processes is also critical. Previous experience in a similar capacity will be advantageous.
