The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry – Division of Adult Dentistry invites applications for a full-time faculty member to provide direct patient care, teach residents, and participate in administrative activities. As a key member of the division, you will supervise general practice residents, conduct seminars, and serve on college committees.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic academic environment. The ideal candidate will hold a D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree and maintain a dental license within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical teaching is preferred, along with a proven track record of success in mentoring students and residents.

Responsibilities
  1. Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care as a participant in UK-Healthcare, working closely with residents and other healthcare professionals.
  2. Teaching and Mentoring: Supervise and mentor general practice residents, conduct seminars and lectures, and evaluate resident performance.
  3. Administrative Activities: Serve on college committees, participate in division meetings, and contribute to the development of academic programs.

A competitive salary range of $150,000 - $220,000 per year is offered, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
