Your Role on the Team
The responsibilities of the Commercial Title Analyst encompass reviewing title searches and instrument copies, resolving title issues, and preparing title commitments.
Your tasks will include analyzing the title chain for all company title orders, identifying and addressing title challenges, assessing insurability, and issuing title commitments. You will also conduct take-down examinations for transactions related to the company's affiliated home building division.
Additional duties may involve assisting with miscellaneous clerical tasks and supporting local branches in closing transactions as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher education required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial title examination for real estate
- Practical understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing real estate matters
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Land Records Information System and proficiency in interpreting data from the system
- Strong writing skills and familiarity with standard terminology used in title policy documentation

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
Regular, in-person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during standard work hours is a crucial aspect of this role.
This position requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined spaces, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, and lift or move equipment weighing over 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment may be necessary, and finger dexterity is required for using a computer keyboard and calculator.

The anticipated base compensation for this position is expected to be around $42 per hour, subject to adjustments based on factors such as employee qualifications and geographic pay differentials.
This position may qualify for bonuses and commissions, along with the benefits outlined above in accordance with company policy.
