Job Title: Desk Manager

Under the direction of the Club Operations Director, the Desk Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing membership records, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate daily records of membership and attendance information for the Club.
  • Implement BGC's 5 Key Elements for youth development.
  • Oversee new member and parent orientation.
  • Input accurate attendance records into MyClubHub (Salesforce).
  • Develop and demonstrate proficiency in MyClubHub functions.
  • Answer phone calls and convey accurate and timely messages.
  • Collect membership fees.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, volunteers, and parents/guardians.
  • Communicate Club Updates to parents/guardians.
  • Maintain confidential files related to membership, attendance, and dues/fees.
  • Prepare and issue new membership cards.
  • Report any parent/guardian concerns and member concerns to Club Operations Director and/or Program Directors.
  • Conduct daily announcements over the overhead PA system.
  • Assist co-workers with other related tasks as needed.
  • Attend and participate in special BGCWCL events.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Punctuality and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite.
  • Positive attitude and growth mindset.
