Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the McHenry Township Fire Protection District. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care, and fighting fires. This is a part-time position that requires a strong commitment to public service and a passion for emergency response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
  • Fight fires and perform rescue operations
  • Operate and maintain fire and medical equipment
  • Participate in training and drills to stay up-to-date on emergency response procedures

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Illinois or Wisconsin driver's license required
  • EMT certification required
  • Firefighter certification required
  • Ability to pass a background check and physical exam
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency response environment
