Position Overview

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to become an integral part of our Finance team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This role will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and will be pivotal in managing day-to-day and month-end accounting functions. The successful candidate will also play a key role in the annual audit process and various special projects. This position will provide essential support to the finance team and management, including process documentation, implementation of controls, treasury management, and other assigned initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in estimating, settling, accounting, and reporting for stadium events.
  • Prepare general ledger entries while maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Support the preparation of account reconciliations.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding issues and discrepancies.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and participate in other projects as needed.
Qualifications and Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Experience or interest in stadium or entertainment accounting and reporting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Great Plains, Concur, and Adaptive software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000.
