Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at SSM Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Utilize leadership skills to coordinate and manage patient care, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness through evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
Education and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • No experience required, but prior experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Constant use of speech to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Constant standing and walking, with frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent use of vision, depth perception, and hearing to assess patient needs and respond to alarms and other auditory cues.
Professional Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment.

This position is located in a medical-surgical unit, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
