We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison. As a Registered Nurse in our Respiratory Care Unit, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with pulmonary medical intermediate care needs.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize leadership skills to coordinate and facilitate patient care, including education and support for patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Meet the physical and cognitive demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting patients as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- No experience required, but prior experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
This is a full-time position with a rotating shift schedule, including every 3rd weekend. The starting pay is $37.74 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and bonuses.
