Senior Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our products and services to customers in assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling units (MDU) areas/properties with 20+ doors through door-to-door solicitation and lobby events.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Service Delivery: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience; meets established objectives relative to monthly sales goals and increased sales volume and penetration through assigned leads and assigned property portfolio.
- Customer Engagement: Solicits residential customers through door-to-door solicitation and lobby events; generates incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new/additional services.
- Problem Resolution: Responds to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy; follows through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.
- Territory Management: Maintains a well-informed knowledge base of competitors activities throughout assigned territory; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions.
- Team Collaboration: Attends and actively contributes to sales meetings and training programs; accurately completes all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines, including dispositions, sales orders and sales reporting.
- Financial Acumen: Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to Company policy and guidelines.
- Cold Call Sales Skills: Knowledge of cold call sales skills, persuasion, and clear communication skills.
- Travel and Work Environment: Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle; ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computer operating systems, a myriad of consumer and commercial communications devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, converters, and wireless devices), and computer software applications.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Sales and Customer Service Experience: Experience in sales or customer service – 0 to 6 months.
- Communications Technologies: Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals.
- Cable or Telecommunications Services: Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.
- Customer Education: Experience with consumer education of products and services.
- Sales Success: Success in a previous sales position, prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred, but not required.
- Outdoor Work Environment: Spends approximately 80% of time in outside environment for extended periods of time in any season with potential exposure to inclement weather.
- Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds for 20 - 30 feet (digital boxes, etc.).
- Noise Levels: Exposure to moderate noise levels.
