Position: Senior Systems Administrator

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Required

Key Responsibilities:

DCCA is seeking Systems Administrators with TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance, possessing experience in both Linux and Windows environments. We have multiple openings available.

  • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Oversee IT systems, including daily operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Assist in the escalation and communication of status updates to agency management and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining engaged in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, install/load software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components while implementing enhancements for improved reliability and performance.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, conducting system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.

Required Skills:

  • Experience supporting multiple operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, and/or Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
  • Proficiency in creating and modifying scripts in languages such as bash, perl, shell, and python.

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of networking concepts or experience in network administration is advantageous.

Required Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience; or 20 years of experience as a System Administrator without a degree.
  • Security+ certification is mandatory.
