- Monitor and Record Vital Signs: Take and record residents' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with Medication Reminders: Help residents with medication reminders and ensure they take their medications as prescribed.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to Care Planning: Participate in care planning and contribute to the development of individualized care plans for residents.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the resident's living area is safe and free from hazards, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Licensure: Must be certified as a CNA and have a valid license to practice in the state.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Working with Seniors: Must have experience working with seniors, preferably in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting.
- Basic Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills and be able to navigate electronic medical records.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
