Key Responsibilities:We are seeking behavioral support specialists for the current academic year. Our institutions are looking for inspiring professionals to assist our students as they strive for academic excellence and personal growth.
Our specialists are influential leaders both within and outside the classroom, possessing a genuine passion for students and a strong desire to engage with families and the community.
Specific Duties Include:
- Implementing the behavior support plan or intervention strategies tailored to assist students throughout the school day.
- Executing designated behavioral interventions and methodologies.
- Utilizing positive reinforcement to encourage appropriate behavior.
- Providing constructive consequences and alternatives for challenging behavior.
- Demonstrating effective instructional and behavior management techniques.
- Gathering and analyzing behavioral data to inform potential adjustments to the program.
- Communicating changes in student behavior to the ESE Teacher, Full Inclusion Teacher, and Case Manager.
- Assisting in modifications to the curriculum as needed.
- Facilitating social interactions and play between students and their peers.
- Supporting instruction in behavioral and social skills.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned by the School Leader or manager.
