Veterinary Radiology Specialist

At BluePearl, we're seeking an exceptional Veterinary Radiology Specialist to join our team in Cary, NC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostic testing, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), x-rays, computed tomography (CT), nuclear imaging, and digital fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities:

  • Position patients for clear imaging
  • Remove and replace IVs and catheters for MRI procedures
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment
  • Monitor patients during scanning and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with clinicians to ensure clear images for accurate diagnoses
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
  • Safely restrain patients for procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy, place IV catheters, and prepare slides for cytology
  • Operate digital radiographs and monitor patients during anesthesia or sedation
