Culinary Specialist Job Overview:

The successful candidate will possess prior experience in a culinary role, demonstrate the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, and exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for the culinary arts.

This role requires availability for shifts that include weekends and holidays, with part-time and full-time options available. Typical shifts are from 5:30 AM to 2 PM, 9:30 AM to 6 PM, and 11:30 AM to 8 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented attractively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring proper storage of food and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow kitchen staff to guarantee timely and efficient service.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a cook or in a comparable culinary position.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary degree or certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous.
