Job Title: Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing social work services to individuals, groups, and families.

Job Summary:

The Social Worker will be responsible for providing therapeutic intervention, case management, and psychosocial assessments to patients and offenders. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct individual and group counseling, and prepare psychosocial assessments and social summaries.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide social work services to individuals, groups, and families
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling
  • Prepare psychosocial assessments and social summaries
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in social work from an accredited school of social work
  • Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) licensure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
