Job Responsibilities

Key Duties Include:

  • Supervising staff responsible for receiving and organizing inventory.
  • Ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are stored appropriately to maintain their integrity.
  • Implementing a First In, First Out (FIFO) system to reduce waste.
  • Designing the layout of the storage area with consideration for stock movement and capacity.
  • Communicating with management to address issues related to non-usable or slow-moving inventory.
  • Resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and stock records.
  • Assisting vendors with deliveries and ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Filling in for absent staff as needed.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Overseeing the requisition process to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
