Job Summary

As a Probe Head Assembly Technician at FormFactor, you will play a critical role in the development of advanced integrated circuits (ICs). Your primary responsibility will be to assemble and test probe heads, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the final product requirements based on job specifications, including appearance and measurement.
  • Verify accuracy of materials used to complete all jobs to specifications, including solder fillet, probe shear, and tip position.
  • Examine products for defects such as partial solder fillet and defective probes, as compared to target quality.
  • Properly complete all paperwork, maintain proper separation of product per job and or lot number at all times, consult with quality assurance on product appearance and performance, maintain cleanliness and organization of Litho area.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in precision component attach process and repair.
  • Experience on surface mount, solder ball bumping, wire bonding, pick-n-place.
  • Strong experience with hand tools (e.g., Tweezers, Vacuum pickup tools, Soldering Irons, die handling, wire bond, test fixtures).
  • Experience in inspection and repair for MEMS device.
  • Familiar with metrology tools, such as Dage shear and Z-scope.
  • Good with verbal and written communication.
  • Good team player.
  • Able to work at Compressed Work Week schedule.
