Job Summary

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Division and Outreach Supervisor. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of outreach and training for the Children and Families Services Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management and Compliance
    • Develop and implement the Division Outreach and Community Engagement Plan (OCEP) and Training Plan.
    • Collaborate with program supervisors to meet the needs of each program's OCEP and training requirements.
    • Ensure all services provided are culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate to the population served.
  • General Management
    • Conduct all activities with a commitment to the organization's mission and strategic plan.
    • Provide excellent customer service and exhibit respectful, professional conduct in all communications.
    • Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures.
  • Administrative/Supervision
    • Recruit and train staff.
    • Create a positive, safe, and productive work environment for all staff.
    • Ensure completion of HR reporting, performance reviews, and other paperwork on a timely basis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in education, adult education, social services, family support, social work or a closely related field.
  • Two years relevant work experience.
  • Current CPR, First Aid certification.
  • Provide and maintain a current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Clean drug testing records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Excellent interviewing, perceptual, diagnostic, and family assessment skills.
  • Ability to relate well with families of varied lifestyles, backgrounds, and ethnicities.
