About the Position: We are seeking a skilled professional to serve as our Associate Chair of Research. As a member of the Department of Medicine, this individual will play a key role in promoting high-impact research to improve health and healthcare throughout Central Texas. The Associate Chair of Research will align departmental research efforts to establish UT Medicine as the premier leader in research discovery, translation, and implementation.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research productivity, including NIH peer-reviewed funding and experience obtaining and administering extramural funding from various sponsors. They will also have a proven ability to collaborate with multiple members of a clinical research department, including writing and administering complex grants.
