About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate III to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with experts in social science and humanities research.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, abstracting, and coding micro-level clinical and educational information from multiple sources. This includes medical records, educational records, and other relevant documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to school districts and healthcare facilities in Bexar County, TX.
  • Review, abstract, and code micro-level clinical and educational information from multiple sources.
  • Data entry and quality checks at UT Austin.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in public health, psychology, social work, education, or a related field, with at least 4 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience. The successful candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants with more than the required years of related experience are preferred. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000, depending on qualifications.

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions.
  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
  • Some travel within the state of Texas required.

Work Shift

Monday - Friday, flexible between 8am-6pm.
